The world is changing, and not for the better. The drumbeats of war grow ever louder; political chaos increases everywhere as fascists struggle to impose their wills on nations; storms, earthquakes, and other disasters ravage ever more countries around the globe. That same motherworld is raped daily for resources and defiled by waste and pollution. None of this should be too surprising, for all institutions have failed.

States are universally mired in greed as the obscenely rich get richer, making the desperate poor ever poorer. Meanwhile institutional religions remain caged in narrow medieval mindsets, offering the same old tired solutions to problems their leaders cannot understand, while their own filthy corruption drives worshipers away. Science, on the other hand, is just as dependent upon its own blinders, refusing to see anything beyond its own narrow paradigms, even as it regularly overturns its latest theories. And strange signs appear in the heavens…

Could these indeed be the End Times?

Why not? It’s amazing this sorry old world has lasted this long!

I was born in 1952, in the weeks between UFOs buzzing the White House and the detonation of the first H-bomb. With my fellow baby-boomers, I huddled under school desks during the Cuban Missile crisis. I vividly recall JFK’s assassination, that of his brother Bobby and MLK, the Moon landing, Challenger and Columbia, 9/11, and the brave new Twenty-First Century going to shit.

So yes, I’d say there are many sufficient reasons to believe that things are coming to a great crisis that will make or break the world.
